In Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare tells us the ending at the introduction of the play. But we still find it interesting, even though we already know what will happen. First of all, one of the reasons one would read the play is because it is a love story, and by reading the introduction, you won't get that. Second, he never says how or why the die, so he makes the reader curious. There are also other characters that make the story more interesting. But I what makes it a good play is how he is constantly hinting what will happen next, so the reader becomes anxious and keeps on reading.
